I saw in the comments you were talking about possible interplay between Brie and the pop-ups. I think a good way to implement that would be having her say something hypno-y when the popups come up!
It's for if you have a second monitor positioned vertically above your main. When it's checked, you can throw her upward, watch her arc gracefully through your upper monitor, and then see her land back down on your lower one. A little niche but I think it's pretty fun and adds a bit more compatibility!!
I really like both parts of this-the hypnotizable shimeji and the brainwashy popups-but I can't help but wish that there was a bit more interplay between them. Unless there is, and I'm just not aware? Which is possible.
Either way, if there's interest in continuing then there's a lot of potential to this concept!
thanks so much!! I really wanted to add more interplay too, we just couldn't get to it in the time allotted-we wanted the tools (pendulum/visor) to only be unlocked after clicking relevant pop ups, for example.
hopefully more like that in the future if we return to this!

The transparency seems to vanish after a little while and she's appearing in a black box, is there anything that can fix this? It's a touch distracting.
Weird! Is she still walking around and doing stuff like normal, just with a black box behind her? Can you give me any steps to recreate this? Also, what OS are you on?

The mouse girl is pretty cute, but I can't get the helmet to work for some reason.
Maybe a possible bug with the Linux version?
There is a bug in the linux version with the helmet!
Try dragging her onto the helmet rather than vice versa.
We currently have no clue why this happens.
That's weird, because I'm on Linux and the helmet works mostly fine! Occasionally I have to try a few times, but usually it works first try.
I'm on an older version of KDE Plasma, though. Plasma 5.27.10, and using X11 instead of Wayland.
I don't understand what "use lowest floor only" does, as they seem to only walk on the taskbar anyway.
